The problem of ensuring the adequacy of the university evaluation by ranking systems is considered. The evaluation university process with ranking systems is considered as a process of complex objects evaluation. The converted space of university evaluation is proposed, its basic properties are considered. A method of the targeted space forming for university evaluation is proposed that allows comparing the ranking system of universities, and ensuring the adequacy of the evaluation results.
