In article are considered electromagnetic processes in AM with phase-wound rotor in the mode of appositive activate with the modified system of impulse control. Conditions are formulated under which a possible implementation of such braking. It is shown that the presence of the Converter increases type and slave network inverter at transformer-less connection to the network, working with the constant angles advance inverter   β, provides the braking mode AM with energy recovery in the network. Given a modified scheme and results of simulation.
Analysis of the results shows that, while maintaining a constant current in the rotor ensures a constant value of tongue in braking mode with smooth change of frequency of rotation of AM.
It is established that at the time of the reverse and at direct current in the rotor at braking torque occurs significant electromagnetic torque on a shaft, the amplitude of which depend on the phase of voltage at time of reverse.
For exclude surge of the moment it is recommended to use a hybrid contactor for controlling phase at switching time or smooth change of setpoint current limitations .
The proposed scheme is recommended for modernization of gantry electric drives.
