ANALYSIS OF POWER QUALITY SOLAR POWER
Abstract:

The generation of electricity with the help of solar power plants has a great potential for development in Ukraine. The analysis of the main power quality indicators generated by the solar power station of the Izmail energy unit and transmitted to the power system is carried out.

Experimentally obtained reliable results of measurement of power quality indicators. The generation of electricity by alternative sources and the connection of the latter to the power system by means of current converters affect the quality of electricity in the network. High frequency switching inverters can create additional harmonics in the network. The use of the modern PM 175 analyzer makes it possible to analyze the power quality indicators and use the results of research to develop measures to improve the efficiency of the solar power plant in the power system. A comparative analysis of the admissible values ​​of the sinusoidal distortion coefficients of the voltage curve and the coefficients of the n-th harmonic voltage component is carried out. As a result of the measurements daily diagrams of the sinusoidal distortion coefficients of the voltage curve on the 110 kV buses of the Kiliya substation were obtained. The graphs of the change in the value of the coefficient of the 3rd harmonic voltage component on the 110 kV tires are obtained, taking into account the work of the solar power plant, mainly clear, sunny weather. The generation of electricity by alternative sources and the connection of the latter to the power system by means of current converters affect the quality of electricity in the network. The high switching frequency of the inverters can create additional harmonics in the systems and reduce the efficiency of the system due to the violation of the stability of the sources and the malfunctioning of the inverters. Generation of electric energy at the Kiliya solar power station of the Izmail energy unit occurs in compliance with the current standards.
