EFFICIENCY IMPROVING OF THE DRIVE SYSTEM FOR FAN INSTALLATIONS
Abstract:
The drive system for pulse frequency-current slip-power recovery scheme for fans stationary installations of the main mine ventilation, which combine the positive properties of the classical pulse control system and slip-power recovery scheme is proposed. A feature of this system is the existence of the pulse regulator in the rectified rotor current circuit, represented as the step-up voltage converter and an inverter operating at a constant inversion angle. With the help of the developed simulation model of the asynchronous drive for complex researches, electromagnetic and energy processes in the drive system of the pulse frequency-current slip-power recovery scheme with the fan load and variable aerodynamic parameters of the main mine ventilation line were researched. The drive system of the pulse frequency-current slip-power recovery scheme is able to respond with high accuracy and reliability to changes in the aerodynamic parameters of the main mine ventilation is proved. The electric drive system for pulse frequency-current slip-power recovery scheme allows to increase the power factor of the electric drive fan load up to 0,8÷0,93, and the efficiency up to 92.5 ÷ 94.5% with the regulating in the working rotor slip  of the drive fan motor in the range s= 0,5 ÷sn,. This is correspondingly an average higher by 0.25 and 40% compared to systems of un-regulated electric drive. The recommendations on the design and rational choice of the installed fan power for the main ventilation line for procuring the best level of energy efficiency of the electric drive are devel-oped.
