BRUSHLESS MOTOR FOR MINING BATTERY-ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE
Abstract:
A brushless electric motor for mine battery-electric locomotive ERA-P8 has been developed. The results of bench tests and railway tests of battery-electric locomotive equipped with two brushless motors are exposed. The efficiency of brushless motor application compared to existing brush DC motors has been evaluated.
