MODIFICATION OF CATEGORICAL-ZONE METHOD FOR DIGITAL WATERMARKS EMBEDDING
Abstract:

Modifications of the categorical-zone method for embedding information into image container were proposed. Designed modifications are to determine the image blocks contrast type in accordance with the proposed approach; categories blocks setting by pseudo-random method of masking pixel blocks; control check bits embedded messages through which excludes blocks which are not suitable for embedding. The software realization and experimental research of the proposed approach was described. It was shown that by introducing the proposed modifications have been reduced the number of extraction errors from the data container. Also it is shown experimentally that due to the proposed modifications reduced image distortion when embedding information into it.
