DETERMINATION OF POWER TRANSFORMER LOADING CAPACITY USING ON-LINE MONITORING SYSTEMS AND STOCHASTIC OPTIMIZATION
Abstract:

This paper presents the problem of determining the loading capacity of oil-immersed power transformers in a continuous mode of operation, taking into account the impact of operational factors. The thermal mathematical model of transformer is improved to clarify the hot spot temperature of the winding, taking into account the nonlinearity of the thermal resistances of transformer elements. The determination method of nonlinear parameters of thermal model using the on-line monitoring system data and stochastic optimization techniques is developed. The generalizing algorithm for determining the power transformer loading capacity is developed.
