LASER SCANNING RANGEFINDER
Abstract:
Purpose – to develop laser scanning system used for navigation of mobile autonomous robot. This system can also be used in automatic parking. In this system implemented method that allows non-contact and high speed to measure the distance to the object. The technique is to measure the inten-sity of reflected radiation from the object. The advantages of this technique is to increase the speed measuring and improving noise immunity. The output signal that is proportional to the distance of the object can be analog or digital. Using the scan beam measuring distance available to all objects that are in the field of system. Due to the high performance system you can control the robot in real time. This system can be used in a variety of robotic systems. Also, this system can be used as a basis for building more complex systems for geodetic studies. Also in future be based on this sys-tem to develop a system for three-dimensional model of the object surface.
