CONTROL SYSTEM OF TWO-MOTOR ELECTRICAL DRIVE BY THE REGULATION OF EXCITEMENT AND AUTOMATIC DISTRIBUTION OF LOADING
Abstract:

     In the paper the system of two-motor electrical drive for modern press of paper machines (PM), which has one regulator of speed and individual regulators of anchor currents and excitement currents of the motors by their supply from common converter of a PM are considered. The scheme provides proportional distribution of loading between the motors without additional circuits and regulators. A mathematical model of dynamics of the drive by taking into account elasticities of mechanical transducers  in the detailed structural scheme is given. For each motor the system consists with three contour circuits. Feedback for the speed is realized by the sensor of speed, which is installed on the shaft of main motor of the drive. Recommendations for tuning of regulators, current sensors and correctors of the system which provide optimal dynamical behavior of the drive are given. Transient processes obtained by the simulation on the computer via MATLAB for the systems are presented. Moreover, while investigations in the load-on cases we have established that proposed scheme of the drive provides exact distribution both dynamical and static loading between the motors.
