Diagnostics of technical condition of the insulation of electrical machines in variable frequency drives
Abstract:

Factors of negative impact on motor insulation, powered by a frequency converter with PWM, are considered. A model of the electric drive including parameters of frame insulation is developed. A method for leakage current measurement and monitoring of insulation state is proposed.
