PERFECTION OF AUXILIARY BLOWER CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MARINE LOW SPEED ENGINE
Abstract:
The auxiliary blower purpose description is presented. The particularsof automatic electrically driven auxiliary blower with relay-contactor control schema functioning has been analyzed. Arising of repeated motor start-stop at diesel partial loads, so-called, economy modes is connected with slow fluctuation of scavenge air receiver pressure. The frequency convertor for electrical drive rigging is suggested for controllable optimal on the combustion process quality air supply into diesel at partial loads. For frequency converter reference signal producing it is possible to use definite scavenge air receiver pressure exceeding over exhaust manifold pressure. The basic operations of auxiliary blower electrical drive control algorithmand advantages of frequency control are considered.
