TRANSIENTS OF SYSTEM OF VOLTAGE SOURCE INVERTER INDUCTION MACHINE OF THE MINE LOCOMOTIVE WHEN POWERED FROM REAL SYSTEM OF POWER SUPPLY
Abstract:

The park of mine electric locomotives in Ukraine reaches 4 thousand units. The majority of them are equipped morally and physically out-of-date systems of relay-contactor managements of engines based on a direct current (DC) systems. However recently there is a tendency of introduction in the practice of mine electric locomotives by the application of frequency control to the electric power supply observed. Despite the advantages obtainable from the application of frequency control, the data provided by research and the manufacturers has not fully exploited or addressed the application and operation of these systems. Research on the application of frequency control as applied to mining locomotives identifies, “power inverter - induction motor” in start-brake modes. A comparison of the systems in use and this further research, has established that is a preferred option based on the amplitude of pulsations, relative to speed (electromagnetic and elastic instant) with a net result of reducing the pressure on the network when compared with .
