MODELING AND RESEARCH OF A THREE-PHASE ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE ARC POWER REGULATION SYSTEM WITH NEURO-CONTROLLER IN THE INSTANTANEOUS COORDINATES
Abstract:

In this article the authors substantiate reasonability of improvement of the arc power regulation system using the neuro-network control principles, propose the structure of the arc furnace electric mode control system with a nuro-controller and execute its design. The authors also propose the model of a three-phase EAF arc power regulation system in the instantaneous coordinates. The results of computer simulation of electric mode of a steelmaking arc furnace with a neuronetwork control system have also been obtained. The elaborated system of regulating arcs lengths of an electric arc furnace with a neuro-controller and the obtained results of computer simulation of electric mode for the existing and proposed systems have shown improvement of dynamics indicators of regulating arcs lengths as compared with a serial power controller – AFAR-T. The derived results of the research have demonstratedimprovement of arcs lengths control dynamics under the use of a neuro-controller as compared to the performance of a serial arc power controller.
