ASYNCHRONOUS ELECTRIC DRIVE BASED ON THREE-LEVEL DIRECT FREQUENCY CONVERTER WITH A SCALAR CONTROL
Abstract:

A review of the existing two-level frequency converters without DC link is shows their influence on the stator voltages and currents. The principle of constructing a three-level indirect inverter on the basis of a two-level indirect current rectifier and a three-level voltage inverter, which does not contain DC are discussed. A three-level direct frequency converter with the formation of the zero point of the DC using the input filter capacitors which are connected in a star are proposed. Mathematical models of the inverter to the induction motor loaded with scalar control method are designed. Using this model, transient studies conducted that showed improved energy performance of asynchronous electric with electric-based PWM-VSI are compared. Reasonability of study of the proposed three-level direct frequency converters with different vector controls laws are showed.
