IMPROVED CHARACTERISTICS OF INDUCTION MOTOR DRIVE IN AREA OF HIGH SPEED OF ROTOR BY MAXIMIZING MOTOR TORQUE
Abstract:

The task of improving the dynamic performance of vector-controlled induction motor drive (IMD) in the area of high speed rotor motor is considered. For the extended model of induction motor drive with short-circuit rotor, where the nonlinearity magnetization curve and power losses in iron are taking into attention, optimal law of forming the rotor flux linkage in the IMD for maximized torque of engine with limited amplitude of the stator voltage and current is defined. Optimization problem was solved by numerical method with using of genetic algorithm. Simulations showed significant improvements of IMD operating speed in the zone of high speed rotor with the application of optimum law for formation flux linkage of rotor. In particular, during acceleration the engine from the nominal speed to the speed of three times grater, the time of drive acceleration reduced by 40%, if the condition, that 1.5 level increasing of nominal value of stator current in the shot time is permitted.
