FUZZY COGNITIVE MODELS OF HUMAN OPERATORS AND DISPATCHERS DECISION SUPPORT
Abstract:

The subject of this article is information technology of decision making by operational and dispatch staff taking into account cognitive characteristics of decision making person.

The goal of this article is to improve information technology of real-time decision-making by means of taking into account influence of external factors on cognitive characteristics of decision making person.

Classification and interconnection between factors influencing on cognitive characteristics of operational and dispatch staff have been considered. Groups of factors influencing decision relevance such as ergonomic factors, factors of functional state, operator cognitive characteristics have been defined. Methods of fuzzy sets theory have been proposed to use for mapping of non-numerical factors. Fuzzy relational model mapping change of decision relevance under the influence of external factors and change of operational and dispatch staff cognitive characteristics has been proposed. Terms of fuzzy linguistic variables for ergonomic factors have been defined. Membership functions of fuzzy linguistic variables have been defined on the basis of Gauss function.

Proposed cognitive models of relevant decision making allow taking into account the influence of different factors including cognitive, which can improve efficiency of proposed alternatives because of cognitive characteristics of operational and dispatch staff and decision making conditions in real time are also considered.

The structure of fuzzy cognitive model which maps interconnection of ergonomic factors and cognitive characteristics of decision making person has been proposed for the first time and also membership functions of fuzzy linguistic variables terms of ergonomic factors have been defined firstly.

Use of proposed models in information technology of decision making by operational and dispatch staff will allow to evaluate factors which have the most significant influence on decision relevance and as a consequence to adjust utility of alternatives taking into account cognitive characteristics of operational and dispatch staff.
