We propose a technology to assessment of the representative of the test to improve the quality of testing students' knowledge. The purpose of this work is development of technology to assess the representativeness of the test to ensure its quality. The proposed technology is based on an analysis of the proportions of the number of questions covering different partitions are and learning objectives of the course. Technology contains two phases: the calculation of the quantitative characteristics of a representative sample of questions and testing and improving the representativeness of the test. In the first phase are calculated quantitative characteristics of a representative sample of questions on one of the static characteristics of the course: the normative time, number of educational goals or coefficient of the importance of the educational fragment.The second phase involves checking representation by measure compliance the calculated of the performance characteristics and the number of questions in the test. This technology was used to assess the representativeness of the tests in the remote system Moodle, on the subjects of "Structure and organization of data into the computer", "Human-Computer Interaction", "Modeling and analysis software". Representativeness tests improved on average 2 times after the use of technology.Modern information learning technology are not make it possible checking the representativeness of the test, so the test is subjective and is weakly formalized.Present technology allows teachers to analyze the representativeness of the test, fragment of one course or complex testing.
